For over two decades, SkipRope has partnered with Kaleidoscope to bring Toyota’s global vision to life. To celebrate their international reach, Toyota required a massive synchronized production to capture the stories of Principal Dealers, CEOs, and employees across every corner of the globe - all to be premiered at their flagship 5 year Global Event.

The Challenge

SkipRope was tasked with an ambitious logistical feat: executing 24 shoots across 17 countries and 6 continents—all within a lightning-fast two-week production window. The goal was to capture a cohesive series of interviews with alongside "customer journey" B-roll and a synchronized, multi-lingual "Arigato" from dealership teams globally. Besides logistics, we needed to ensure a unified visual language and identical production quality across vastly different environments and cultures—from Honduras to Australia—while managing a relentless 24-hour shooting schedule.

The SkipRope Solution

Leveraging our deep international network, we curated a final list of locations based on the most reliable local infrastructure and creative talent. We then engineered a high-efficiency production model:

  • The "Strike Team" Approach: We grouped geographically linked locations (Europe, Asia, Africa, and Latin America) to be covered by dedicated regional teams, while utilizing vetted local specialists for "one-off" locations like India and Saudi Arabia.

  • The Global Production Hub: SkipRope acted as the 24-hour command center. We managed time-zone-defying Zoom briefings and remote filmings, oversaw up to four simultaneous shoots per day, and directed all communication, logistics, and data deliveries.

  • A Unified Aesthetic: To ensure the footage felt like a single story, we developed a comprehensive Style Guide and Production Template. This acted as the "north star" for every Director and DOP, replicating Kaleidoscope’s specific visual requirements regardless of the filming location.

The Impact

The result was a suite of five high-impact films that showcased Toyota’s global unity with total visual consistency. By acting as the central nervous system for 24 international teams, SkipRope proved that "global" doesn’t have to mean "complicated." We provided the local expertise and the rigorous oversight needed to deliver world-class results on a massive scale.
